Over 15 years ago, a few other entrepreneurs and I saw an opportunity to help personal trainers and gym owners. We created a franchise so that people like you didn’t have to do all the “business work”. You could focus on changing lives. But we learned something about you. You didn’t want to be told what to do. You didn’t want to conform to specific branding, pricing, and values.
You actually wanted to have complete freedom and autonomy. You wanted independence.
There are typically two choices for people like you. You sign up with an expensive highly controlled franchise or work with a system-less guru that promises the world but can’t deliver. There was a gap in the market. Gym owners needed a system so they didn’t have to build their business from scratch AND so they could maintain their independence.

Nick has been in business coaching & consulting with gym owners since 2004. He has co-founded multiple other brands within the fitness industry, and his journey has allowed him to help thousands of other small business owners, both inside and outside of the fitness industry. His companies have been on the Inc. 5000 list 3 times, Franchise Business Review’s Top Fitness Franchisor for Franchisee Satisfaction 3 times, a 4-time Best Places to Work in Kentucky award winner, as well as a 5-time best selling author.
When Nick is not helping fitness business owners build businesses they love he spends his time outdoors either golfing or mountain biking.

Kelly has a BA in Advertising Design and Marketing from Western Kentucky University, an MBA from Bellarmine University in Louisville, KY., and a graduate of Goldman Sachs 10k Small Business Program. She is passionate about helping fitness professionals and entrepreneurs become effective leaders through timeless principles and real-world management practices.
Kelly can often be found demonstrating her leadership outdoors at marathons or participating in other physical tests of endurance.

What makes FR Success Coaches different?
All of our coaches are successful former gym owners who have been in your shoes. Our Success Coaches complete over 1500 coaching sessions a year. Each individual coach averages almost 110 coaching sessions per quarter. Additionally, they receive over 75 hours each year in professional development and in-service training.
