Blog posts by Angela Ramos
Angela got into the fitness industry after experiencing her own year-long physical transformation. As a mother of 4, she understood the unique difficulties that women face when trying to “get back in shape” after pregnancy which prompted her to start training clients in 2006. Over the next 10 years, her business grew from a handful of members in her basement to a 3000 square foot commercial space with hundreds of raving fans. In 2016, Angela began coaching other fitness business owners and after 3 years of continued success, she joined the FR team in 2019.
Angela studied performing arts in college before beginning her first career as a legal assistant. While both area of experience would not seem relevant to the fitness industry, Angela drew on both to exponentially grow her training facility and then her coaching business. She has worked with upwards of 30 fitness businesses in creating and implementing the marketing campaigns that have brought in countless members and easily created over 50 landing pages that convert.
As if raising and homeschooling 4 children wasn’t enough, Angela plays the ukulele and is an accomplished vocalist that performed for 10 years in a Christian band. She enjoys working out with her family and sharing her love for music. I guess you could say that she is definitely putting that performing arts education to use.
